MaintenanceCouncil's Engineering Services Division is responsible for the construction, management and maintenance of Council's assets. Council has four Depots within the Great Lakes Council area that carry out work on Council assets. These Depots are located in Tuncurry, Stroud, Tea Gardens and Bulahdelah. Requests for maintenance are recorded in Council's Service Request System and are forwarded through to the relevant Depot for action. Street Lights - Published: 14 Jun 2005Council is responsible for the installation of new street lighting within the Great Lakes area, but does not maintain existing street lighting. more .. Bus Shelters - Published: 17 May 2005 Council is responsible for the maintenance and installation of bus shelters in the Great Lakes area. more .. Signs - Published: 29 Jun 2005 Council's Engineering Services Division provides and maintains various types of signs within the Great Lakes Area. more .. Stormwater Drainage - Published: 02 Aug 2005 Council is responsible for stormwater drainage in the Great Lakes area. more .. Carparks - Published: 08 Jul 2005 Council is responsible for the maintenance of carparks in public areas and reserves, but has no involvement with those carparks that are privately owned. more .. Roads - Published: 29 Jun 2005 Council maintains approximately 630 km of sealed public roads and 420 km of unsealed public roads, but does not maintain privately owned roads. more .. Bridges - Published: 19 May 2005 Council maintains approximately 110 bridges on local roads in the Great Lakes area. more .. |
