Urban, Commercial and Industrial Driveway Construction

Urban, Commercial and Industrial property owners are required to complete and submit an Urban Driveway Levels Application form, along with a plan of the proposed driveway and payment of the application fee. Applicants should refer to Council's Vehicle Crossings Policy (attached to Urban Driveway Levels Application form) and Australian Standards 2890.1, 2890.2, 2890.5 and 1428.1 (Codes for Off-Street Parking).

Click on the link below to open and print a copy of the Urban Driveway Levels Application form, which outlines all of the documents you are required to provide upon lodgement of your application and the conditions you must comply with in relation to your driveway construction.
A copy of Council's Vehicular Crossings Policy is attached to the application form.
Alternatively you can contact the Engineering Services Division to have an application form posted, faxed or emailed to you. Complete the application form and return it, along with payment and relevant documents, to Great Lakes Council, Engineering Services Division, PO Box 450, Forster NSW 2428.
It is recommended that you retain a copy of your application form and relevant documents for your records.
