Strategic Documents on Exhibition

To whom it may concern,

Council's website service provider has been experiencing technical dificulties since Monday 21 January 2008. Unfortunately, this has affected the provision of documents relating to the public exhibition of -

Great Lakes Local Environmental Plan 1996 (Draft Amendment No. 58), and Rezoning Justification Report for Lots 3 and 4 DP 1052466, Lots 1 and 2 DP 1012758, Lots 310 and 312 DP 774361 and Lots 1 and 2 DP 847940, Waratah Close, Bottlebrush Close and Camellia Place, Green Point

The scheduled period of public exhibition for this Draft LEP Amendment is 23 January 2008 - 25 February 2008. All documents are availble in hadcopy format at both the Forster and Stroud offices of Great Lakes Council during business hours. Those documents which are able to be made available on Council's website shall be loaded as soon as the technical issues are resolved. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Should you wish to obtain a copy of the exhibition materials on CD please contact Mr Roger Busby on 02 6591 7254 and leave your postal address details and a copy shall be forwarded to you next week.

Draft Local Environmental Plan (Amendment No. 69) - Failford & Stroud - Published: 14 Jan 2008

Council has resolved to exhibit draft Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 1996 (Amendment No. 69), Failford & Stroud from 16th January 2008 until 18th February 2008. Council has also resolved to exhibit the Local Environmental Study (LES) that has been prepared for the land and which provides all the relevant background information as well as a draft Development Control Plan (DCP) concurrently with the LEP.

Draft LES for Lot 15 DP 713933 Carmona Drive, South Forster - Published: 10 Oct 2007
Great Lakes Council recently resolved to exhibit the draft Local Environmental Study for Lot 15 DP 713933 Carmona Drive, South Forster, for a minimum period of three (3) months. The draft Study, prepared by Umwelt (Australia) Pty Ltd, examines the capability and suitability of the site for low density rural residential development and requirements for conservation, having regard to the subject site’s relationship with the surrounding Booti Booti National Park and adjoining rural residential precinct. The findings will inform Council’s position on the potential future rezoning of the site to achieve an appropriate mix of development and conservation. more ..
