Section 149 Certificates

A Planning Certificate (formerly Section 149 certificate) is a document which provides information on the relevant planning regulations which apply to any particular piece of land.

Certificate Application (s149, 603, 735a) - Published: 18 Oct 2005
Section 149 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment (EP&A) Act 1979, requires that local councils, upon application, must issue a Planning Certificate providing information on the planning controls relating to any piece of land within the Council Area. more ..
