Tea Gardens Future Traffic Management PlanLast modified: August 14, 2008 - 11:57 AM
Tea Gardens Future Traffic Management Plan: Great Lakes Council has begun the process of investigating future traffic needs for Tea Gardens. As part of the process, Council has appointed an independent consultant (Roadnet) to examine options for the future of Tea Gardens, balancing the needs of pedestrians, cyclists, residents and commercial premises. The consultant has prepared a preferred concept design in conjunction with key stakeholders for the future direction of Marine Drive and has made recommendations for improvements to the surrounding road network of Tea Gardens based on future growth forecasts. Council is now seeking the public’s opinion on the consultant’s proposal before proceeding any further. Written submissions can be sent to: General Manager Great Lakes Council PO Box 450 FORSTER NSW 2428 Or email council@greatlakes.nsw.gov.au A detailed report summarising all submissions received will be presented to Council for further consideration of the issue.
The report prepared by the consultant can be found by using the link below.
