The Great Lakes Community Network is the peak interagency where community organisations, government agencies and service providers are working together.
Working together to;
* Identify and address community needs and strengths.
* Share information.
* Identify opportunities.
* Build partnerships.
* Provide support.
* Raise awareness.
* Build the capacity of the community to address its needs.
* Have an input into community planning.
The Community Network holds bi-monthly workshops that are open to all.
The Great Lakes Community Network is the external reference group for the Community Strategic Planning process and is convened by Council's Strategic Community Planning Coordinator.
