Marine Education

Last modified: June 2, 2009 - 2:48 PM

Great Lakes Council conducts and supports a number of marine education initiatives, including the very successful Project Aware on the Rocks.

This program conducted in late 2007 generated enormous interest in the inhabitants of our local rocky shore environs.

Council also supports the Great Lakes Underwater Group (GLUG) which conduct regular dives between Seal Rocks and Blackhead to record the marine species found in the local area. Please click on the link below for further information.
