Beaches & Beach Licences

During the school holidays (except June/July), Council contracts professional lifeguards on four of our beaches. Lifeguards are on duty Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
The beaches are patrolled by volunteer surf life savers on weekends and public holidays from October to April. For further information regarding any of these patrols please contact the local surf club.
- Forster Main Beach, Forster. Forster Surf Life Saving Club
- One Mile Beach, Forster. Cape Hawke Surf Life Saving Club
- Elizabeth Beach, Pacific Palms. Pacific Palms Surf Life Saving Club
- Bennetts Beach, Hawks Nest. Hawks Nest Main Beach Surf Life Saving Club.
Beaches are also located in the following areas, however they are not patrolled.
- Pebbly Beach, Head Street, Forster
- Burgess Beach, Burgess Road, Forster
- Tuncurry Beach, Beach Street, Tuncurry. Tuncurry beach may also be refered to on maps as Nine Mile Beach.
- Blueys Beach, Newmans Avenue, Pacific Palms
- Boomerang Beach, Boomerang Drive, Pacific Palms
- No 1 Beach, Kinka Road, Seal Rocks.
- Boat Beach, Kinka Road, Seal Rocks.
- Jimmy’s Beach, The Boulevarde, Hawks Nest.
- Cellito Beach, The Lakesway, Pacific Palms
