Swimming Pools

The Great Lakes Council area has a combination of freshwater swimming pools and swimming enclosures. Freshwater swimming pools are located at Bulahdelah, Stroud, Tea Gardens and Tuncurry. Swimming enclosures are located at Allworth, Coomba Park, Forster and Tuncurry. Please refer to each facility below for specifics on each.
Tea Gardens Swimming Pool is the only supervised pool. Tea Gardens and Bulahdelah Pools are the only pools that require an entry fee for swimming.
Council encourages all users of swimming areas to be accompanied by a responsible person at all times. Freshwater swimming pools are typically open from the September school holidays until the Easter School Holidays. Swimming enclosures are open all year round.
